Too Cute

I had a conversation with Quinn today that went like this:

Quinn: "Where is dad?"
Me:"He went to Snowflake today with Grandpa John to get some things."
Quinn:"Why?"
Me: "Because they are moving down here, they don't live in Snowflake anymore."
Excited Quinn: "Are they really moving here?"
Me: "yes"
Really excited Quinn: "Alright, all the boys can sleep in my room. Grandpa can sleep in my bed."

Too cute! As you can see, we are not the only ones glad to have you close to us! We are really excited you guys are here!

Cole and Paisley

Today was Cole and Paisley's blessing day. Thank you to everyone who came! It was a fun day to see a lot of family. We definately felt blessed. Here are Cole and Paisley. Everyone lean.

Something Important to think about and act upon.

I hope to encourage all of my family to stand for what is right. Vote YES for Prop 102. It states that "Only a union of one man and one woman shall be valid or recognized as a marriage in this state." Please make sure that you are registered to vote and take the time to vote for this important issue. If you aren't registered to vote, you can go to http://www.yesformarriage.com/ and follow their links. You MUST register by October 6th! You can register right online or print out the form and mail it in. Remember that you need to re-register if you've moved or changed your name. Even if you are already registered, you can help Prop 102 by making sure your friends and family are registered, too. Don't forget about those kids who will turn 18 by November 4th. Prop 102 needs your YES vote, so make sure that you are registered so that you can vote YES for marriage in this November's election.

I fully support this amendment.

Cole Czar Woods

Cole Czar Woods was born on August 26, 2008. He weighed 6.2lbs and was 18 inches long. We are so happy he is here because I was not loving being pregnant!

Private Blog?

What does everyone think about making this blog private? I know some people don't like just anyone to be able to look at pictures of their families online. I didn't add it as a link to mine and I hid it on my own blog profile but I wasn't sure how everyone else feels. I know it's a little tougher to sign in and such but I want everyone to feel comfortable leaving a post or comment. Please leave a comment and let me know how you feel either way. Thanks!

Happy July 4th!

Katlyn's Baptism!

One of the most exciting days of the year for our family happened on Saturday, the 21st of June. Katlyn was baptized, and is now a member of the church! She was so excited, and was so ready. She is such an example to all of us. We love her so much.

Here we are, the whole family! It was an exciting day, and so much fun that all the family could come. It meant a lot to Katlyn!

What to Blog About

There have been some questions about what exactly to post on here so I figured I would just answer it on the blog. You can post whatever the heck you want to. It can be events with John and Debbie or just stuff of your own families. For example I saw on Vanessa's blog that Debbie and Angela came down to celebrate her birthday. I'm sure Debbie would really love to remember that so that would be a really great post. I also hope that you will post any events for your families. For example I really hope that Courtney posts about baby Jake when he is born or puts some pregnant pics on here, or Katlyn's baptism is another good one, or kids birthdays. We can always edit later. Also each family will have a 1-2 page spread of just their families at the beginning of the book so I will need some of just you, you and your spouse, your kids, your whole family, whatever you want to represent you guys. Don't worry I'll let you all preview the book before I publish it. Thanks for doing this guys!!!

Ringing in 2008 in Snowflake

We rang in 2008 with some heated games of spades, skiing, steaks, more spades, MarioKart, and just hanging out.
This little marble ball game is always a big hit with the kids.
This was Rocko's first ever skiing trip and Laura turned 30.

Fathers and Sons

This year for Father's and Son's dad, John, Mike, Micah, Andrew and all their boys met up with Micah's ward. Everyone had a great time playing 500, fishing, hanging out, and eating KFC of course. Too bad this only comes around once a year!
